One of our wonderful Year 6 students spoke recently in an assembly in the Junior school about a project he had started to collect plastic water bottle caps for a very good cause. The Junior Student Council and the CAS students in Secondary have decided to support this positive project and are running a competition to see which class/form can collect the most bottle caps.
The bottle caps will be donated and will be recycled into prosthetic limbs for people who have lost arms and legs due to illness or accidents. The winner will be announced at the end of Term 2.
Although this is a competition, we know that each of us wins when we help those that are in need and we also feel good about recycling and helping the environment.
Please, save your plastic water bottle caps and sent them to your child’s class or form tutor to support us all!
