On Monday the 8th May, student council representatives from Juniors and Secondary were invited to discuss and review the behavior policy across the school. The behavior policy is an important part of life at school and the student council was involved in the discussion to help match behavior with our school values.
The student council looked at how the policy could be modified to help support the whole school community in line with the GES vision and mission, as well as our four core values of being respectful, caring, responsible, and supportive.
The session was very productive, with students from both primary and secondary being split into groups and sharing their ideas and thoughts on the sanctions and rewards that could help to improve the behavior policy.
The discussion was led by the Deputy Head of Secondary, Mr. Daniel Langford and the lead counsellor, Mrs. Sheila Jenkins
